چکیده
Abstract Tree allometry is a plastic feature, and scaling parameters can vary considerably depending on phylogeny, life strategies, growth conditions ontogeny. We hypothesized that in multi-layered forests growing rich sites driven by stand dynamics without stand-replacing disturbances, light primary driver of allometric relationships the morphological plasticity tree species closely associated with their shade tolerance. quantified compared properties six form tolerance gradient: Alnus glutinosa (L.) Gaertner, Quercus robur L., Fraxinus excelsior Ulmus laevis Pall., Tilia cordata Miller Carpinus betulus L. The between height local density as predictors dbh, crown width, length volume response variables were characterized. found lower layer values increased at rate light-adapted than shade-tolerant species. Conversely, traits competition was stronger ratio width-to-crown not demand. Apart from ash, which demonstrated different allocation pattern, between-species differences slenderness insignificant. Allometry sensitivity to varied trees upper layers. Our results indicate dichotomy basic strategies stress versus avoidance overly simplistic fails consider social status species-specific features such apical control.

15 صفحه اولrole of cultural iran in promotion of multilaieralism in central asia and caucasus
cultural iran is a scope that is more extended than the political territories of iran as a political unit. this concept means that cultural geography(mehdi moghanlo-1383-1) of iran is greater than its political geography which, according to history, has a long history extending west-east from kandahar to the euphrates and north-south from the persian gulf to the caucasus including transoxiana a...

The present study deals with the estimation of tree biomass by non destructive method in tropical dry deciduous forest (DDF) and tropical mixed deciduous forest (MDF) in 0.1 ha permanent plots, established at seven sites each in seven districts of state of Madhya Pradesh in central India. Tree volume was calculated using site specific volume equation. The biomass of each species was estimated t...
متن کاملComparison of plant species diversity with different plant communities in deciduous forests
Species diversity is one of the most important indices used for evaluating the sustainability of forest communities. This study aims to characterize the forest communities and to identify and compare the plant species diversity in the study area. For this purpose, 152 relevés were sampled by a randomized-systematic method, using the Braun-Blanquet scale. Classification of the vegetation was con...
متن کاملModelling tree height–diameter relationships in multi-species and multi-layered forests: A large observational study from Northeast China
Projection of stand development over time relies on accurate height–diameter functions. In complex forests where trees of various ages, species, sizes, vigor and crown classes, and shade tolerance levels coexist, tree height predictions are more difficult than in uniform conditions. In such complex situations, individual tree height–diameter relationships and predictions are often further compl...
